Halloween Fun

The boys love Halloween. Brody has a horrible sweet tooth so you can all figure why he loves it, and Colby loves all the scary things in the stores, front yards etc.. We took them to a kid friendly Haunted House, they decorated pumpkins and a witch festival. Colby wanted to be a Ninja and Brody wanted to be a green monster. I couldn't find a green monster one, but I found this skeleton. He loved it! He wouldn't wear his mask (could you blame him) nor would he let me paint his face, but that's okay, he was cute and Colby was a tough ninja!

Colby, super tough Ninja

Brody, woooo scary

Memories

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! Since this is our family blog, feel free to leave a memory about any of the four of us.
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. :)

Happy Birthday Brody

Okay so we all know that Brody's birthday was last March, but I did want to get these pictures posted and I've had quite a few friends give me grief about how slow I am at updating my blog, so I guess this wouldn't really be updating it, since this was last March, but oh well. Brody did have a great birthday
We did an Elmo cake

Brody loved decorating it

Or eating the decor:) This kid sure has a sweet tooth.

And again

Brody again hurt this exact area of his eye. He has a scar now that doesn't look like it is going away. Boys will be Boys

Dip anyone

Brody Loves Dip, we gave him a Banana and he started dipping it in his ranch, gross, but he did love it!

Exciting Day!

What a day today! I was leaving to go meet Allen and pick out carpet for our basement when I noticed this in our neighbors yard.

When I came back a couple hours later and after I picked up Colby they were still there. They went to our backyard so I opened the window and the deer and Brody had a face off.

They started eating all the roses off of my bushes so I decided it was time to scare them off, but they were hanging around for quite a few hours. They boys loved it and I am glad they waited around till Colby got out of school.

First Day of School

Colby had a Blast! Mommy and Brody missed him, Brody asked every 10 minutes, "where's Colby?". Colby gave hugs and followed the other kids examples. He LOVES Kindergarten. Note I let Colby pick any shirt he wanted for the first day so of course it has a character on it:) Oh well I'll post a picture of the outfit I would of chosen! He looks handsome either way

No Look back.....

Fathers Day/Allens B-day Weekend

We had a great vacation in St. George over Fathers Day weekend. We headed down Thursday night and stayed till Sunday. We enjoyed good food and fun things. My parents and brother and sister and fams all went down Friday and joined us. We discovered "Fiesta Fun" and played on the go carts,

Where I again discovered I am not a speed demon and got passed not once but TWICE by my brother who had my son in the car. We went on these boat things that not just got us a little wet but VERY wet. I thought I could drive around and not get my son wet who hates water. Not so much we quickly pulled over and he got out as you can see he was trying to already.

miniture golf and games inside!!!

Then I played a mean game of air hockey, yes I of course won Kristen both times:) and barely lost against Allen :(

We enjoyed swimming and shopping at the outlets also!! Then the reason why we go each year is to visit the shows at Tuacahn. We saw Les Miserable this year

Boys at Tuachan. Great show, kids were great.
We finished off our trip and enjoyed a great Fathers Day/Allens Birthday Breakfast and headed back on the road. We want to thank Allen for being such an AWESOME Father and Hubby! He is great and does so much for us. Ohhh... and Travis you owe us an ice cream cake.... ha ha

Toilet Days

I haven't posted anything for a while, I know many people have emailed asking us to post more, so here is my excuse...... It started like any other day, BUSY, but it did start with Brody putting a toy in the toilet, hmmm bad start. Then while the boys were having lunch, mommy went into the bathroom and dropped her phone in the toilet, for a half a second I thought of flushing it down, but then I remembered there is a small chance I might be able to recover it, so I grabbed the towel and fished it, now hopefully your asking why the towel? Is it waterproof? No of course not apparently I just wanted to add to my laundry for the day, well at exactly the same time I pulled the phone out of the toilet, my youngest son threw up in the kitchen and of course started crying. Hmmmm I wouldn't mind doing that right now, which one you may ask? Both probably. Well I drop the phone go into the kitchen, help my son take his shirt off, put a towel over the mess, sit him down at the table and give him the banana he wanted instead of making him eat his lunch like I previously asked. Did I mention the Guilt I was feeling?? Back to the bathroom, pick up the phone get the battery out, sim card out, trying blow drying it, lay it out on the towel to dry. Hmmmm... okay what do I do next? Well I need to get a back up phone from Allen so I can make sure to have access to clients calling. Well, we haven't really set up our home phone yet soooo, ahhh internet of course, get my laptop to IM my hubby to bring me home a backup phone, and the internet doesn't work, try and re-set the internet, try again, no go. I believe the Technology People are against me! I am starting to feel trapped with not outside access!!! Plug in the home phone and wait a couple hours for it to charge before I can get help. So you might be wondering my excuse?? Ever since that day I have not been able to get my wireless internet working, so I am borrowing one of my hubby's laptops and waiting to get mine fixed where my pictures are on to post!! So look for future updates, hopefully

"I want some...."
"Daddy ... I do it myself" Oh it is just the beginning
"I Looooove You" Awww.... makes everything worth it!!
His other favorite words, "HI, chocolate, thirsty, drink, MORE, hungry.....

PJ Time

Love the boys in their Pj's. Colby was on a campout with Allen and his cousin Cooper. When it was time to get Pj's on Cooper pulled on "footsie" Pj's. Colby immediately tells Cooper those are Baby Pj's (which unfortuantely I believe I told him that once when he wanted to buy some) Allen came to Coopers rescue and told Colby they weren't. Well guess what!! Of course Colby wanted to buy Footsie Pj's. So this is their matching pair, Colby loves them, but Brody HATES them and will not sleep through the night if he wears them, Go Figure!

It's a Bleeder

Hmmm... what child would I be talking about? Oh I should offer a prize for whomever guesses, but we all know that the answer would be Brody. Colby and Brody were playing downstairs, Allen and I were trying to pack when all of a sudden we hear Colby yell, "Brody got hurt" We run downstairs as Brody is fussing coming up with his forehead GUSHING! Thank Goodness Daddy was there because Mommy was a little shocked. Daddy grabbed Brody and mommy grabbed a washcloth, and put it against Brody's head. Mommy was worried that we were going to have to take him to the hospital and get stiches and on and on...... Thank Goodness it just hit a vein and clotted very quickly and wasn't as bad as it looked. Ohhhh and this is just the beginning.

Our New Home

I've promised a lot of people that I would post some pictures of our new home, we are really excited and think we might of found the "final" home!

We really don't have great pictures of the inside, so all you friends of ours that live out of town, you will just need to take a trip to visit!! We even have a guest room for you!

Here is the kitchen, Allen is in LOVE with the cabinets, I prefer darker, but the nice thing is this house is move in ready so everything we do will be upgrades to fit our needs, not fixing!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

With buying a new home, selling a home and the normal stresses of the Holiday Season we did not get around to sending cards out. We did want to take the time to wish EVERYONE a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!! We missed all of you we couldn't see this season and hope you had a very good holiday season

Decorating the Tree

We took awhile to get our tree up because of all the showings we were getting on our home (FYI, we are selling our home) Finally we had a night where I was able to decorate the house! The boys loved decorating the tree and were proud of how it turned out. Colby goes, "Mom when they come see the house they will say, what a pretty home this is, it looks like Christmas" He is adorable! Here is the outcome

After we enjoyed some Hot Cocoa and a Christmas Story
